Tips for photos and pricing your listing

Quick answer
Shoot in natural light, show every angle and every flaw, and upload up to 12 photos. Check Recently sold for similar brand, size, and condition. Remember the marketplace fee is on item price only.
Photos that help your listing sell
Buyers cannot inspect the item in a shop. Your photos do the talking. A few things that work well:
- Shoot in natural light, outdoors or near a window.
- Show the whole item from multiple angles, plus any accessories included.
- Include close ups of wear, damage, or flaws. Honesty builds trust.
- For surfboards, show deck, bottom, rails, nose, and tail, plus fin setup if fins are included.
- Upload up to 12 photos and drag them into the order you want buyers to see first.
Pricing your listing
Check Recently sold for similar items: same brand, size, and condition. Price a little high if you expect offers, or set a firm price if you want a quick sale.
- Factor in shipping if you charge for it. Free shipping can help a listing stand out.
- Remember Reswell takes 7% of the item price at sale. You keep 93%.
- Use Drop the price in 2 weeks if you want an automatic price cut after two weeks.
- Turn on offers if you are open to negotiating. Most sellers set a minimum around 70% of list price.
Writing a description buyers trust
Mention how long you have owned the item, how often you used it, and any repairs or modifications. Call out size, what's included, and anything a buyer would want to know before checkout.
The AI description helper can get you started, but read it over before publishing. Buyers notice when a listing feels generic or skips over wear and tear.
